1. Introduction

v12hero ("I", "me", "my") is an independent developer building lightweight, family-friendly mobile apps for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what data I collect, how I use it, and the choices you have. By downloading or using any v12hero app, you agree to the practices described here.

2. What Information I Collect

  • Information you give me voluntarily: When you contact support, join a mailing list, or grant an in-app permission (e.g. camera, microphone), I receive the data you choose to share (e.g. email address, screenshots).
  • Automatically collected data: My apps and website may collect basic, non-identifiable analytics such as device type, operating-system version, in-app events, and crash logs. I use Firebase Analytics and Apple App Analytics for this purpose. All analytics are aggregated and do not reveal your identity.
  • No sensitive personal information: I do not knowingly collect government IDs, health data, precise GPS coordinates, biometric identifiers, or payment information inside my apps.

3. How I Use Your Information

  • To deliver and improve app features and stability
  • To understand usage trends and prioritise new content
  • To respond to customer support requests
  • To show non-personalised advertisements (if the app is ad-supported)
  • To detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, or security issues

4. Legal Bases (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), I process data under one or more of the following legal bases:

  1. Performance of a contract (providing the app you requested)
  2. Legitimate interests (analytics, fraud prevention)
  3. Consent (optional features such as push notifications or personalised ads)
  4. Legal obligation (when records must be kept under applicable law)

5. Third-Party Services

I may share limited, non-identifiable data with trusted service providers who help me operate my apps. These include:

  • Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) — Google LLC
  • Apple App Analytics — Apple Inc.
  • Ad Networks (only in ad-supported titles) such as Google AdMob or Apple Ads

Each third party is bound by its own privacy policies and may process data on servers located outside your country.

6. Cookies & Local Storage (Website only)

My website uses minimal first-party cookies for session management and anonymous traffic measurement. No advertising or tracking cookies are set unless you explicitly opt in.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

My apps are not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided me personal data, please contact me and I will promptly delete it.

8. Data Security

I follow industry-standard practices such as TLS encryption in transit, least-privilege access controls, and periodic security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but I work hard to protect your information.

9. Data Retention

Non-identifiable analytics are retained for up to 24 months. Emails and support tickets are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, email me at the address below.

11. International Transfers

I am based in Pakistan, but some of my service providers operate in the United States, the European Union, and other regions. I rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards when transferring data internationally.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When I do, I will post the new version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be announced within the app or on my website.
